We are pleased to announce that from January 2007, "Journal de Physique IV" will join the prestigious series The European Physical Journal (EPJ), series supported by a consortium of European publishers and learned societies.

This new section, called "EPJ Special Topics", will be devoted to the rapid and timely publication of topical issues in all fields pertaining to the pure and applied physics sciences.
