EDP Sciences is delighted to be welcoming early career researchers to a two part Masterclass on scientific writing taking place during the EPS Forum in Berlin today.

Part I - “Understanding scientific journal publishing”- will consist of presentations focusing on how journals are managed, the challenges of peer review, the role of the Editors and how young scientists could contribute. Part II – “How to write effective titles and abstracts” - will be in the format of a practical workshop reviewing real examples of unpublished abstracts shared by registered participants.

The Masterclass on Scientific Writing at the EPS Forum is organized by publishing experts at EDP Sciences and Springer Nature in collaboration with the EPS Young Minds. The Masterclass will be facilitated by Isabelle Auffret-Babak (Executive Publisher at EDP Sciences), Christian Caron (Executive Publisher at Springer Nature), Sabine Lehr (Associate Publisher at Springer Nature), Anne Ruimy (Publishing Director Journals at EDP Sciences), and Christian Beck (Professor at Queen Mary University of London).
