We are pleased to announce that Acta Acustica, the Journal of the European Acoustics Association, has just been accepted into the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) where it joins over 12000 other high quality, open access, peer-reviewed journals. These journals cover all areas of science, technology, medicine, social science and humanities. This is a great step forwards for Acta Acustica which became the first acoustics journal of a learned society to transition to open access at the beginning of 2020. Indexation in the DOAJ means Acta Acustica is in compliance with the open access policy of the DOAJ and meets all the strict criteria required for inclusion.

Paris, France, 4 June 2020: EDP Sciences and the National Science Library, Chinese Academy of Sciences (NSLC) are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of an agreement on article processing charges (APCs) which enables all corresponding authors affiliated with eligible Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) academic institutes to publish open access, at a discounted rate, in a range of EDP Sciences journals.

EDP Sciences continues to support the academic community during Covid-19
Paris, France, 21 May 2020: EDP Sciences today announced its decision to extend free access to its journals content* from 2018-2020 until the end of August 2020. It has also declared a price freeze across all journals for the year 2021. Uppermost in this decision is the wish to support the academic community throughout the coronavirus pandemic and to acknowledge that it will take some time for the effects of this crisis to subside.
