Mathematical Modelling of Natural Phenomena (MMNP), a research journal published by EDP Sciences and the Société de Mathématiques Appliquées et Industrielles (SMAI), has become the first mathematics journal to partner with Peer Community In (PCI). PCI is a non-profit, non-commercial platform that publishes recommendations of preprints after peer-review through specific communities of researchers.

Radioprotection becomes the eighth journal published by EDP Sciences to move to Subscribe-to-Open (S2O) and will also be online-only from 2023.

We warmly welcome Dr. Jamshed Iqbal to the Web of Conferences editorial board where he will support ITM Web of Conferences in the areas of Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Control, Artificial Intelligence and related subjects.

We are pleased to report a steady, overall performance for the EDP Sciences journal portfolio in the latest Journal Citation Reports™ from Clarivate. This follows last year’s unprecedented, across-the-board increases. As always, there are some excellent, individual results to share.

Following the release of the latest CiteScores by Scopus, we are pleased to report significant increases for a number of our journals. The highest increase of 1.7 goes to Mathematical Modelling of Natural Phenomena. Its 2021 CiteScore is 5.7 and it sits firmly in Q1 of both the Applied Mathematics and the Modeling and Simulation categories. In 2020, MMNP was the first maths journal in the world to transition to a Subscribe-to-Open (S2O) open access model.

In 2022, we are celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Savoirs Actuels collection. Revisiting the titles of this collection means going back over the major themes that have marked the recent history of scientific research, but also paying tribute to the researchers, who have become authors, and who have thus contributed to the dissemination of their knowledge.
